Thin corneas can still get laser correction. That is what PRK is for.

PRK uses the same laser as LASIK, applied to the surface of the eye instead of under a flap. You get a similar correction to LASIK, and the trade is a slower recovery, weeks instead of days.

A no from five years ago might be a yes now.

Thin or steep corneas, a prescription too strong for the laser, or being in your 50s and 60s used to be the end of it. ICL and clear lens extraction cover a lot of that ground, which means a lot of people who were turned away have options now. Dr. Ron Baldassare offers both.
