Stubborn hormones making weight loss feel impossible?
I know you’ve been trying it all: more protein, more workouts, less fun...
But nothing moves the scale for you, and you know it’s your stubborn hormones.
Here’s what’s happening...👇
After years of chronic stress, poor sleep, less muscle mass and changes in hormones, your body may have to produce more insulin to keep your blood sugar in check.
This is called insulin RESISTANCE, and it can make managing your weight harder by affecting your hunger, cravings and how your body regulates blood sugar.
Insulin resistance makes it harder to lose weight.
BUT!
You can improve how well your cells respond to insulin, and this is where the magic happens.
When you improve your insulin SENSITIVITY, you have more energy, fewer cravings, and healthier appetite regulation.
This makes it easier to stay consistent with the habits that actually help your body feel safe to let go of the extra weight.
So, how do you do it?
✔️ Reduce foods made with flour (crackers, bagels, muffins, pasta, etc)
✔️ Reduce foods with more than 6g of added sugar
✔️ Walk regularly, especially after meals.
✔️ Eat protein and fibre at every meal
✔️ Go to bed earlier
✔️ Track your habits, so you know how consistent you’re being
You don’t need to punish your body into losing weight. You need to give it the support it needs to work better.
Your hormones aren’t an excuse to give up. They’re a reason to change your approach.
