Clinical case
Meet Ingrid, a 50-year-old accountant who is passionate about running. After a long break, she wants to get back to it and run 10 km pain-free. Ingrid is dealing with recurrent plantar fasciopathy, a challenge she intends to overcome to reach her goals. Her biomechanical analysis showed that she runs at a cadence of 178 steps per minute, with moderate impact and a midfoot strike. She currently runs in New Balance SC Pacer shoes (MI 44%).
Do you have any advice to help her make a smooth and comfortable return to running? We’re open to your suggestions!
