This mindset can be applied to many moments/eras in life. Opening a business. Leaving the job. Starting over. Walking away from something. Putting yourself out there and risking failure or rejection when staying comfortable would be so much easier. Less ~spooky risk~. Sometimes being brave doesn’t look like having it all figured out.
It can look like being scared or worried and doing it anyway.

You probably won’t feel ready. You’ll question yourself, or maybe everything. You’ll have days where you wonder what the *helly* you were thinking.

But you’ll also have moments where you look around and realize “wow, I did that”.
So take the leap. Brave the scaries. Start the thing. Try again. Keep going.

You don’t need to know exactly where it’s going to take you. Maybe no where? You just need to be brave enough to take the first step, because it might lead you to a really, really beautiful life. 💐

Child one is on her last year of high school, child two is on her first year of high school, and the littlest and last baby bird is just starting her school journey. 🐣📚 I’m crying. It’s a big year for us. 🥲 As I transition Aurora from Daycare to Kindergarten, my schedule in September will be limited. We will be figuring out a new more permanent schedule with this big change, so I appreciate everyone’s support and patience! It’s likely you will all see Aurora at work with me periodically during September. 🎀 I will continue to work by appointment only has I have, and remember that through my website I offer Canada wide shipping on all jewelry I carry! 😊♥️

The famous question every single Body Piercer has been asked at some point. 😂😂 Culturally and historically I think maybe it’s because these two crafts are so intertwined, and Body Piercing *as we know it today* is quite young as an industry/profession on the grand scheme of things. Your short answer- no, and I never wanted to. I’ve dedicated 13 years of my life to this craft/career for a reason- and I love it. Piercing is my jam. ♥️

Body Piercing is an ancient practice. I was asked once why I think people get pierced, and the answer is that there isn’t one single answer, but MANY. It’s unique to everyone- culturally, personally, etc.
