I interrupt my feed to bring you the funniest thing I've just seen 😆

Are you crazy about the layout of your IG feed ? Will social media people tell you that it matters ? Because it don't lol! Mostly it's about consistency. That's what I've found has helped me grow organically.

Second appt for this gorgeous woman !!

The first picture (top picture) were her lips at baseline - no previous Injections (little bit of numbing cream on the bottom of her lip - quick tip - I work from the top lip first - while I work on the top lip I keep numbing cream on the bottom lip, so that when I'm ready to inject the bottom lip, it's been numbing the entire time making for a more comfortable experience) - Try it ✔️

Second pic (bottom picture) is after the second lip treatment. We added 0.5 ml of a hydrating product originally and then 8 months later we added 0.35 ml of a more firmer product to support the lip tissue.

M shaped lips are a bit of B to treat.
Why ? They have rules .. ish

Rule # 1 : Don't you dare inject that upper medial tubercle... unless they need some hydration, cupid's bow definition or stability

Rule # 2 : Never define the vermillion border, this will create more of a heaviness of the lateral upper lip folding it over even more... unless they need definition, in which case definitely define the borders

Rule # 3 : Hydrate those lips first and foremost ... unless of course they're already hydrated, in which case you can proceed with structure and support

Rule # 4 : Full M shape "correction" will never be achieved ... for some. Some clients have lower lip tubercles that fit snuggly in the upper lip tubercles and that's their natural anatomy. I love those lips shapes. For many others, we have successfully eliminated their M shaped lips and created a more even wet/dry border of the upper lip. It just really all depends on the client.

Rule # 5 : Cross hatching lateral tubercles is a Must !! ... sometimes. Other times you can use a bit of subcision to help release the tissues a bit. Depends on how loose the lip tissues are.

Rule # 6 : M shaped lips are very hard to inject and should be done by an experienced injector ... yes, but no. I teach beginner injectors how to inject M shaped lips. The sooner you can master them, the happier your clients will be with their results.

M lips are way more common than we think. Like they're everywhere! Either very apparent or just so subtle. As you can see, from the above rules, there are no rules. Honestly, it just comes from experience and proper assessment. These M shaped lips I just did my normal lip technique keeping in mind to inject the medial tubercle and peak of the cupid's bow lastly. I filled the later tubercles first with standard Y linear threads to create space and volume. I'm in love !!
Don't shy away from M shaped lips - the results can be incredible if done correctly ♡

If you are looking to build lips, often times I will recommend waiting at least 4 weeks between treatments. 2 weeks for healing and another 2 weeks the allow the product to incorporate nicely into the tissues.

Slow building ensures the lip tissue has thoroughly healed and has become accustomed to living in harmony with hyaluronic acid.

Feeling so very Grateful for this year 🙏
I married one of the most amazing souls I've ever met, my new clinic opened and our lives have continued to grow for the better.
We made some incredible memories with friends and family, and met some special people along the way. For every up and for every down, 2021 was a year to remember
