"You can't create or destroy energy. You can only transfer from one form to another. It takes energy to make energy. You need adequate amounts to support your daily physiological tasks and activity."

Fasting only slows down your metabolism, healing, and recovery.
Stop listening to celebrities, rappers, and Dr's that have gone off the deep end.

UNIVERSE:
You get less calories from less processed foods.
Being nutritionally dense and CALORIE LIGHT with an increased *thermic effect from digestion.
You can enjoy more food while losing inches.
(*up-regulated metabolic rate)

You prolly don't get enough whole foods which can keep you in a starvation/binge cycle.

Ps
Salad and meat is not a balanced intake and will lead to metabolic adaptation.
Meaning: you won't lose fat if you eat too little or too much.
You need enough and that takes planning and prep.
They very thing you think you should not have to do.
