Shout out to Moonshot519 Photography for these great shots of Grayson Brown at the KCI Raider Football and Cameron Heights Athletics game yesterday! Click on his handle to view more amazing photos from the game and give him a follow. It’s important to support small local businesses who love the game. I spy a lot of Waterloo Jr. Warriors Football players showing off their skills this fall season. 😉

Progress! For those following our roof saga since the fire, repairs started yesterday and should be complete by tomorrow. Then new insulation can go into attic.

The solar company that is responsible for this damage is in receivership and terminated our lease agreement. Now we have solar panels that were not impacted by the fire and racking at the back of our property that we need to deal with. 🥴🙄🤦🏼‍♀️ I will never ever invest in solar panels again.

Scroll through the image carousel to see where things started and what the roof looks like today.

Any other followers of stefnuh experiencing this or is it just me?

White fish is recommended for allergy dogs like mine do here I am serving up cod 🤢. Those of you who know me well know how much I love the smell of fish… But you also know how much I love this dog. We are trying very hard to deal with his seasonal allergies ballistically without having to get an allergy shot this year. Unfortunately we are having to use the cone to prevent him giving himself an infection.

Watermelon, anyone? This guy goes bananas when I take the bowl of watermelon out of the fridge 😂. Yes, dogs can indeed eat watermelon.

Well, the solar panels are off the roof and every morning we wake up to find more debris on the deck that we need to vacuum up. The deck itself is also in rough shape with holes that were not there before. I’m a barefoot girl when I go out back, but it’s not safe to do that right now and we’re trying to keep the dog safe.

Solar panels are being removed today so our roof can finally get fixed.
