🚨 Your gut problem might not actually START in your gut.
You can eliminate gluten. Cut dairy. Take probiotics. Buy the GI test. Do the cleanse. Add another supplement.
But none of that changes the fact that your digestive system is directly influenced by your nervous system.
When you’re chronically stressed, constantly rushing, people-pleasing, overcommitting and living in fight-or-flight, your body isn’t prioritizing digestion.
Stress can affect gut motility, stomach acid secretion, bowel habits, appetite and even how sensitive your gut feels.
That’s why someone can keep removing foods and STILL be bloated, constipated or uncomfortable.
And no — this doesn’t mean every digestive problem is caused by stress or that testing is useless.
It means you cannot treat the gut like it exists in isolation.
Sometimes the next thing you need isn’t another supplement.
It’s boundaries.
It’s sleep.
It’s eating sitting down instead of rushing.
It’s saying no without guilt.
It’s getting out of survival mode.
Stop asking only “what should I remove from my diet?” and start asking “what is keeping my body under constant stress?”
That question might get you a lot further. 👀
