Modern Medical is growing, and we’re looking for a passionate healthcare professional to join our team.

We are currently looking for a:

• Nurse Practitioner,
• Clinical Pharmacist, OR
• Registered Nurse

Our clinic focuses on hormone health, menopause and perimenopause, men’s health, preventative care, lifestyle medicine, and helping patients take a proactive approach to their long-term health.

We’re looking for someone who is patient-focused, collaborative, and passionate about providing evidence-based, individualized care. The ideal candidate enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients and working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Experience in hormone health, menopause, preventative medicine, and lifestyle medicine is a very strong asset.

✨ Additional assets include:
• Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) certification
• Experience in nutrition and metabolic health
• Experience in hormone health and preventative medicine

Position: 0.8–1.0 FTE (approximately 4–5 days per week)

Compensation: Competitive wage, based on qualifications and experience

Additional clinical training may be available for the right candidate.

A trend we saw in clinic this week - Progesterone sensitivity!

Progesterone is often included in hormone therapy to support uterine health and can also influence sleep and how the nervous system feels. Some people notice changes in mood or energy when starting, which can reflect how the brain responds to progesterone.

In many cases, adjusting how progesterone is used — such as dose, timing, or regimen — can help improve comfort while continuing to provide its intended benefits. In other cases, we may have to look into completely different alternatives like SERMs, IUDs, or non-hormonal therapy.

Iron infusions are now available at Modern Medical.

Infusions are provided in a safe, supportive clinical environment and administered by our experienced on-site nursing team, following established protocols and individualized care plans.

We use single-dose Monoferric, allowing most patients to achieve full iron repletion in one visit — offering fewer appointments, efficient restoration of iron stores, and a strong safety profile compared with iron sucrose.

Due to limited capacity, this service is currently available to active Modern Medical patients. We will share updates as access expands.

You do not need to be anemic to be considered — eligibility is based on individual clinical assessment.

We’re pleased to introduce iron infusions at Modern Medical.

This service has been developed to provide safe, evidence-informed iron therapy in a supportive clinical environment. Infusions are administered and monitored by our experienced on-site nursing team following established protocols and individualized care plans.

At this time, due to limited space, infusions are available to active Modern Medical patients. We will share updates as capacity allows us to expand access.

You do not need to be anemic to be considered — eligibility is based on an individual clinical assessment.

✨ We are so excited to welcome Robyn to the Modern Medical team! You will start seeing her around more often and will be opening her schedule in March 2026 ✨

Robyn is a Registered Nurse with over 19 years of clinical experience. She has worked in the operating room and emergency department, and has also served as a Clinical Nursing Instructor for RN students. Robyn is the founder and nutrition coach at YQL Nutrition, where for over 10 years she and her team have helped individuals achieve their health and wellness goals through personalized nutrition and lifestyle coaching.

Combining her clinical expertise with a passion for hormone and metabolic health, Robyn takes a holistic, individualized approach to help patients feel their best and thrive. She supports patients with evidence-based strategies designed to optimize energy, metabolism, and overall wellbeing.

When she isn’t working, Robyn enjoys strength training at her husband’s CrossFit gym, traveling, going for long walks, and watching her two boys play sports. She lives in Lethbridge with her husband, two sons, and their playful dog, Milo.

Robyn is dedicated to helping patients achieve balance, vitality, and confidence in their health, and she loves witnessing the transformation that comes when individuals feel supported and empowered on their wellness journey
