GTA Reiki celebrates the students of Unionville High School, supported by art teacher & Reiki Master Practitioner Shane Clodd & Reiki Master Teacher Jaya (Graceful Abundance), for creating "The Chamber of the Red Thread: Shadows of Racism - Voices Unheard", currently installed at the Aga Khan Museum in Toronto.

Reiki practitioners can support the project by printing the crystal spheres and chamber installation postcard and sending continuous distance reiki to it.

🌟 Reiki Community Gathering at the Rock Sanctuary! 🌟

What a magical evening we enjoyed at the Rock Sanctuary! Reiki enthusiasts came together to celebrate healing energy, connection, and growth. Here are some highlights of our heartwarming gathering:

Warm Welcome: The Rock Sanctuary’s cozy ambiance embraced us as we stepped inside. The beautiful space and soothing crystals set the tone for an unforgettable experience.

Diverse Attendees: Reiki-curious souls mingled with seasoned practitioners—each bringing their unique energy. We shared stories, laughter, and a sense of unity.

Guided Meditation: Our dear Viki Korres led a garden-inspired meditation. We closed our eyes, felt the earth beneath us, and releasee. 🌿🧘‍♀️

Chair Reiki Demo: Kimeiko Dover demonstrated how to give a chair Reiki to balance energy and leave us feeling seen, held, rejuvenated, and centered.

Giving and Receiving: Our hands gently resting on each other, energy flowed freely and connected us through Reiki. 🙌

Q&A Session: Curious minds asked questions about how Reiki works, the uses of Reiki, Reiki classes, the history of Reiki and more.

Gratitude: Natasha Sos, the visionary behind the Rock Sanctuary, received heartfelt appreciation for creating and generously sharing this sacred space. Thank you, Natasha! 🙏 We will miss the Rock Sanctuary, but we send Natasha our best wishes for her next adventure.

Hospice Toronto's Complementary Therapy Volunteers provide comfort, symptom relief, and improved wellness to clients through Hospice Toronto's current modalities of: Registered Massage Therapy (RMT), Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, Healing Touch, and Reflexology.

Service is provided in the community, in the client's home. Many of our client requests are for visits during the daytime on weekdays, so we are always seeking volunteers with any week-day daytime availability.

Volunteers receive a comprehensive 30-hour Palliative Care Core Hospice Volunteer training program free of charge, which will enhance your volunteer role and give you knowledge and tools for your personal life. The training program includes topics such as Communication Skills, Family Dynamics, Cultural Competency, Hands-on Care Skills, Grief and Bereavement etc.

The screening process for this role includes an interview, personal reference checks and extensive training – a combination of self-directed online education and interactive Zoom sessions. A clear Vulnerable Sector police check is also required.

We had a wonderful time learning about the types of pendulums and how to choose, calibrate, cleanse, and program a pendulum to scan chakras, verify our intuition, and enhance reiki sessions.

Congratulations to Yolky, Anna, and Michelle on achieving Reiki 2 certification, and kudos to Nathalie, Chanelle, Doris, and Susan on refreshing your Reiki 2 skills with GTA Reiki Master Teachers Kimeiko Hotta Dover and Victoria Terechshenko!

We reviewed the Reiki 2 symbols and practiced integrating them in formal table reiki sessions. We also practiced clearing energy with reiki, sending reiki with our eyes, and sending distance reiki using surrogates, photos, and slips of paper.

Congratulations to Madison, Makayla, and Crystal on completing Reiki 1 with GTA Reiki Masters Kimeiko Hotta Dover and Chanelle Lobo!

Our students learned about how reiki works, uses of reiki, chakras, reiki history and principles. They received a powerful placement to reiki energy, learned how to sense energy, and how to give spot, self, chair and formal table reiki through hands-on practice.

Reiki doesn't require any special abilities: anyone can learn to sense energy and work with reiki energy! You can use reiki as part of your self-care practice, to support and connect with loved ones, or even as a business giving reiki sessions.

In this full-day in-person Reiki 2 course, you’ll learn three powerful reiki symbols to support physical, emotional and mental health and healing; how to send reiki through your eyes; how to give table reiki using the symbols; and how to send distance reiki.

The course fee of $400 + HST includes:
* a comprehensive manual, Reiki the Healing Touch First and Second Degree by William Lee Rand, which is used for reiki levels 1 and 2 (if you did not already receive it in reiki 1)
