After 3+ years, it’s time to say goodbye to this place. Mixed emotions, as this was where I took the risk and started this clinic (just before the “you know what” started). Lots of ups and downs during that time, but I certainly gained a lot of life lessons & experiences.

I’ll be taking a bit of a break while the new place gets done up. I’m very excited for the next chapter of my osteopathic journey!!

I guess I got a little too busy enjoying yesterday to post this … 🤷🏽‍♂️

Yesterday represented 3 years since I opened up my clinic. I have enjoyed almost all the challenges that have come with starting up my own practice (that first year and all those closures … 🙄).

A big thank you to all the patients who have/continue to entrust me, along with my friends & family who have my back. ❤️

Today is the last day of my anniversary giveaway (3rd anniversary tomorrow). I would like to thank everyone who voted for .onosteopathy!! Officially now the Readers Choice Award winner for best osteopath clinic in Markham for a 3rd straight year!!

Now I have a small (very small) window into what guys like & (remember, he was a 3x consecutive winner of the U.S. Junior Amateur Championship) experienced being a 3x consecutive champ!!🤣

All kidding aside, I am humbled & thankful to all of my patients who have put their trust in me over the past 3 years. To my friends & family who supported/continue to support me. Gratitude is how I can best describe this. 🙏🏽

Up early this morning to cleanup after yesterday’s snowfall

Helpful advice when shovelling:

- take breaks, especially if the snow is heavy

- bend your knees & use your legs to do the heavy lifting: don’t use your lower back to lift

- avoid repetitive twisting when tossing the snow (protect your back): toss straight out in front of you

- shovelling is a workout so make sure to stretch yourself out afterwards

I’m calling today Good Wednesday. A 4 1/2 hour ordeal ended well for me!!

Honda arranged an Uber ride for me this afternoon to pick up my car. I accidentally left my iPhone in the back seat of my Uber, and only realized it when I stepped into Honda (the driver had left by this time).

I raced home to track the phone (ringer was off, so driver had no idea my phone was there). I located it & raced to where the Uber driver was. When I got within 6 blocks of the driver, the phone battery died! Couldn’t track it anymore!

I went home, lay on the basement floor & re-evaluated things. Asked for divine intervention. Accepted I lost my phone & had to buy a new one.

Someone called my wife’s phone about 1/2 an hour later, and told me her husband picked up my phone from the back of the Uber. He had it in their home in Oshawa! I drove out to Oshawa and was re-united with📱!!

I am ever so thankful to Tanya & Patrick in Oshawa for doing the right thing. I sincerely believed my phone was lost/someone kept it. Sometimes when I lose faith in people, stories like this reassure me that descent people are out there.

As we approach the start of the golf season in Ontario, I want to remind all golfers why golf etiquette is important.

This pile represents 300+ broken/unbroken/buried tees that were left scattered all over a tee box.

Please remember to throw out your broken tees, rake the bunkers you hit out of, and fill in your divots.

This is a first. They had to stop the game to clear a section of the arena. May have been smouldering from the fireworks display. I think it’s b/c the Raps are on 🔥 (see what I did there 😂).

Had lunch today at a new Korean restaurant in Markham. Ordered chicken bibimbap and Korean fried chicken. Food was really good! Lots on the menu to choose from, so I will definitely be back for more.

As per the Ontario Chief Medical Officer of Health’s announcement on March 9, mask mandates will be lifted in most public forums as of March 21. However, health care services, including .onosteopathy will be requiring both therapist & patients to continue wearing masks until April 27.
