I had a wonderful conversation with the President of CTCMPAO Ms Pritchard-Sobhani, their Council Member Mr Hui, their Registrar and CEO Ms Zeng and her team. I congratulated the College on their 10th anniversary earlier this year and commended on their contribution to our community and the province. Thank you all for sharing with me your insights about the Chinese medicine and acupuncture field in Ontario.

With the upcoming Council elections, the College is looking for dedicated members, who have an interest in serving and protecting patients of TCM, to nominate themselves as candidates. Members in Districts 1, 2, 3, and 5, who are passionate about patient safety, are encouraged to submit a nomination package by August 15, 2023.

Council is the main governing and decision-making body of the College. The Council is comprised of no more than 17 members; nine professional members elected by members in the five districts, and a minimum of five and no more than eight public members appointed by the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario.

Emergency Class complies with new Provincial legislation, and Provisional Class aims to provide more registration opportunities.

To request a change of name on the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturist’s public registry, you must complete the Name Change Request Form. You must also submit all required supporting documents for verification and a payment associated with the name change for printing of a new certificate.
