Annually, on the second Wednesday of April, the International Day Of Pink is observed. This day was created as a campaign to end bullying against the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, continuing the fight for equality, diversity, and acceptance.
I do not condone any act of bullying or discrimination and celebrate visibility in all forms. As a small act of standing united as an ally to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, I wear pink today. 💕

Annually, on March 21st, the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination is observed. Racism, discrimination and xenophobia occur daily in Canada. I do not condone any act of racial discrimination and continue to take time to educate myself about the history and the ongoing issues of racism, discrimination, and xenophobia in our society through listening to podcasts, reading books and listening to friends who have been racialized and belong to minority communities. A resource that I enjoy and helps educate me is “Uncomfortable Conversations with Emmanuel Acho.” Share below if you have any recommendations for books or podcasts that helped educate you on racial discrimination.

Treating others with disrespect and mocking them with sarcasm and condescension are forms of contempt. So are hostile humor, name-calling, mimicking, and body language such as eye-rolling and sneering.
Have you ever treated someone, or been treated with contempt?

Compulsions are repetitive behaviours or mental acts that a person feels driven to perform in response to an obsession.

New Fertility Support Group! For those who dream of starting a family, doctor's visits, fertility tests, and procedures are seldom part of the picture. And yet, roughly 1 in 6 couples experience infertility in Canada, defined by the inability to achieve a clinical pregnancy after 12 or more months of regular unprotected sex. Despite how common infertility has become, feelings of shame and secrecy continue to surround the diagnosis. Our pilot support group not only helps you learn practical tools to support your healing journey but also a powerful sense of community.
