Here we are, surrounded by the beauty of the changing seasons.

A reminder that even Mother Nature surrenders. She lets go, slows down and allows things to settle.

Maybe we can too.

As the season changes, may this be your reminder that you don’t always have to be doing, striving or figuring things out. There are seasons for simply receiving and allowing things to be as they are.

For me, Reiki has always held that kind of space—a place to soften, receive and come back to yourself.

Perhaps this season is simply asking us to let go a little… and receive

Very excited to share with you an upcoming Usui Reiki Level 1 & 2 course.

If you or someone you know is curious it’s happening three weeks from now (23-24-25)

What You’ll Learn

Learning Reiki is an invitation to slow down, connect with yourself, and explore a gentle practice you can bring into everyday life. Whether you feel drawn to personal growth or wish to offer Reiki to others, this class gives you a foundation to begin.

Together, we’ll explore:

* The roots of Reiki: its history, the Usui tradition, and the five Reiki principles as a guide for daily living.
* Working with Reiki energy: learning to connect with and offer Reiki while becoming familiar with your own experience of the practice.
* Reiki for yourself: hand positions and techniques to create a regular self-care practice.
* Reiki for others: how to offer a session, including hand positions, creating a comfortable space, and respecting consent and boundaries.
* The Level 2 symbols: their meanings and how to incorporate them into your practice.
* Distance Reiki: techniques for offering Reiki beyond an in-person session.
* Intuitive awareness: noticing subtle impressions and sensations without pressure to experience anything a particular way.
* Grounding and energetic care: practices to help you feel centred before and after offering Reiki.
* Ethical practice: approaching Reiki with care, confidentiality, and respect for each person’s choices and experience.

You’ll receive Usui Reiki Level 1 & 2 attunements, with time to practise, receive Reiki, ask questions, and reflect on what you’re learning.

No previous Reiki experience is needed. You’re welcome to come curious, learn at your own pace, and discover how this practice fits into your life.

It begins with you—making space to listen, receive, and care for yourself.

I started my journey with reiki for me without having a single intention to share…

If you have been feeling a pull towards Reiki message me. I am offering Level 1&2 course in October.

It always starts with ourselves!

As the sun sets on another summer, I’m taking a moment to honour the season we’ve just moved through.

The long days. The heat. The busyness. The adventures, gatherings, gardens, growth and all the ways we stretched outward into life.

There is something beautiful about remembering that we were never meant to live at the same pace all year long.

Nature doesn’t.

Living cyclically invites us to notice the wisdom in each season rather than resisting its change. Autumn has its own medicine.

It is the season of harvest — a time to gather what has grown from the seeds we planted earlier in the year. To notice the abundance that already surrounds us. To celebrate what came to fruition, even if it looks different than we imagined.

And then, just as the trees so beautifully demonstrate, we begin to let go.

What has completed?
What no longer needs to come with us?
What are we ready to lay down?

There is no failure in releasing what has finished its season.

As the days grow shorter and the earth begins her slow journey inward, perhaps we can give ourselves permission to do the same.

A little less doing.
A little more listening.
A little more gratitude for the harvest.
A little more trust in the natural rhythm of things.

Summer taught us to expand. Autumn reminds us to gather, release and prepare, eventually winter will invite us to rest.

There is wisdom in all of it.

We are allowed to have seasons, too.

Let’s talk about our daily practice.

I know the importance of having one. I know how grounding and nourishing a regular practice can be, and I’ll openly admit… I haven’t been all that consistent with mine.

For a long time, I think I’ve carried the idea that a daily practice needs to look a certain way — that if I’m not meditating every morning, journaling every day, moving my body in a particular way or following some kind of routine then somehow I’m falling short.

But I’m beginning to see it differently.

One thing I have been doing is starting my mornings outside walking Finley. I have to say it has been really good for me. The fresh air. The quiet. The movement. Being outside before the day begins. Some mornings it feels like exactly what I need.

Maybe our practices are allowed to change with the seasons of our lives.

Maybe there isn’t one “right” way to practice.

Maybe I’m not doing it wrong.
Maybe I’m simply learning to listen.

To notice what lights me up.
What grounds me.
What brings me back to myself.

And perhaps that is the practice.

Following what feels alive.

What does your daily practice look like right now? And has it changed with the season you’re in?
