There's still time to enter our 2nd Annual Halloween Colouring Contest! 🖍️🎨

📅 Submission Deadline: Friday, October 30th

🏆 Winners Announced: Saturday, October 31st (Halloween!)

Our contest is open to all ages, with prizes for Most Creative, Most Spooky, Most Colourful, Staff's Pick, and a random prize draw!

Simply print off our colouring sheet or pick one up at the clinic, and drop off your masterpiece before the deadline!

🎨 Check out all the amazing submissions we've received so far! We love seeing everyone's creativity brightening up the walls of our new clinic!

😂 AND OUR STAFF HAVE BEEN GETTING CREATIVE TOO!

Tomorrow, we'll be sharing our team's Halloween colouring masterpieces, and we need YOUR help to crown our Staff Colouring Champion! 🏆

🎃👻 Our Annual Halloween Colouring Contest is BACK! 👻🎃

We're so excited to bring back our Halloween Colouring Contest for a second year! This year is extra special as we celebrate the opening of our brand-new Wadden Physiotherapy clinic! 🧡

What better way to make our new space feel like home than by filling the walls with colourful creations from our community!

🎨 This contest is open to everyone, ages 0–100 (and beyond)! Whether you're little, grown up, or somewhere in between, we'd love to see your creativity!

🖍️ How to enter:

* Print the colouring sheet attached to this post or stop by our new clinic to pick one up.

* Get creative and make it your own!

* Drop off your finished masterpiece at Wadden Physiotherapy by October 29th.

🏆 We'll be choosing winners for:

🎨 Most Creative

👻 Most Spooky

🌈 Most Colourful

⭐ Staff's Pick

We'll also be doing a random prize draw from all submissions!

🎃 Winners will be announced October 30th!

🎉 We're excited to introduce Jared MacInnis, Physiotherapist, as one of the newest members of our team at Wadden Physiotherapy and Sport Performance!🎉

He is a graduate of Dalhousie University and began practising physiotherapy in 2024. His passion for the profession started with his own experience as a patient, where he saw firsthand the difference physiotherapy can make in helping people recover, stay active, and get back to doing what they love.

Jared believes that understanding your injury is an important part of recovery. His approach focuses on patient education, active rehabilitation, and giving people the knowledge and tools they need to take control of their recovery and help prevent future injuries.

For Jared, the most rewarding part of being a physiotherapist is helping people regain their independence, rebuild their confidence, and return to the activities that matter most to them.

We would like to wish Good Luck to all of our patients and all of the runners taking part in the Cape Breton Fiddlers Run this morning! This includes our own Laura Crouse, Ashley Petrie and Jared MacInnis, hopefully there are lots of PBs for everyone!

We’re thrilled to welcome Brian Borden, Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), to the Wadden Physiotherapy and Sport Performance team! 👏

Brian graduated with honours from the Massage Therapy Program at Island Career Academy in 2021 and has continued to build his knowledge and skills through ongoing education and hands-on experience.

With a strong interest in anatomy, movement, and the connection between the brain and body, Brian takes an individualized approach to massage therapy, tailoring each treatment to your unique needs and goals.

Brian has a special interest in:

- Chronic conditions and injury recovery
- Sports-related injuries and athletic performance
- Muscle tension and fascial restrictions
- Stress management and overall well-being

His treatments may incorporate a variety of techniques, including deep tissue and Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, fascial work, cupping, Gua Sha, and more.

Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing ongoing discomfort, preparing for competition, or simply looking to move and feel better, Brian is passionate about helping you get back to doing what you love.

Today we’re celebrating our amazing physiotherapist, Laura Crouse! 🥳💙

Laura is not only a fantastic clinician who cares deeply about her patients, but she also keeps us laughing with her quick wit and perfectly timed comments. 😂

When she’s not helping people feel their best, she’s busy being our very own clinic handywoman 🔨🛠️ - assembling beds, hanging pictures, and tackling whatever project comes her way. And let’s not forget her true superpower… she's a MAESTRO with a label maker!

Well that's a wrap on our old clinic! 💙🧡

It's hard to believe how quickly a busy clinic can turn into an empty space! While it's a little strange seeing everything packed up, we're incredibly grateful for all the memories, laughs, and wonderful people we've met since we opened our doors.

We're excited to start the next chapter of Wadden Physiotherapy and Sport Performance in our brand-new clinic at Seventh Exchange in Membertou!

And if you look closely at our team photo, you might notice a few new faces! 👀 We've been busy growing our team, and we can't wait to introduce everyone.

There's lots more to come! Over the coming days, we'll be sharing some pictures of our new space, introducing our newest team members, and giving you a closer look at what we've been working on!

We want to say a huge THANK YOU to our amazing staff, patients, and community for all your support along the way. We couldn't have done it without you!
