When we practice the Reiki Precepts each day, and offer ourselves a little self-care - inch by inch, step by step, moment by moment - we transform into better versions of ourselves ;)

๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต Kaizen (ๆ”นๅ–„)

A Japanese concept built around a simple idea: small improvements, made continuously, can lead to meaningful change over time.

You donโ€™t have to transform everything at once. Just make today a little better than yesterday.

Learning Usui Reiki Ryoho is one of these 'connections' ๐Ÿ™

็ธ (en)

็ธ (en) - โ€œconnection.โ€

Some people enter our lives by chance.
Others feel like they were meant to.

A meeting.
A conversation.
A moment that changes everything.

Maybe some connections are not accidents.
Maybe they are simply ็ธ.

Who are you grateful your path crossed with? Tag them. โค๏ธ

This is more than simple gratitude, it is being mindful of where not only our food but other products come from. The many hands this product touched to bring it to market and then to my home.๐Ÿ™

Itadakimasu (ใ„ใŸใ ใใพใ™) is the familiar Japanese expression said before beginning a meal. It comes from a humble form of โ€œto receiveโ€ and is often understood as acknowledging the food and the effort behind it.

It's a small pause before the first biteโ€”whether it's a carefully prepared dinner or an ordinary family breakfast like this one.

A few seconds, two hands together, and a reminder not to take what's on the table entirely for granted. ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต

ๆ‚Ÿใ‚Š (satori)

ๆ‚Ÿ (sato) - โ€œunderstand.โ€

ๆ‚Ÿใ‚Š (satori) - โ€œawakening.โ€

Sometimes wisdom arrives quietly.
Not when you find all the answers,
but when you finally stop needing them.
You see things as they are -
and somehow, that is enough.

I agree, there is always something nice about having a cup of tea ๐Ÿต

Ocha ni Suru (ใŠ่Œถใซใ™ใ‚‹) is an everyday Japanese expression that can mean deciding to have some tea or taking a little tea break.

It doesn't need to be elaborate. Put the kettle on, choose something you enjoy, sit down while it's warm, and allow the rest of the day to wait for a few minutes.

Sometimes a small ritual is all it takes to change the pace of an afternoon. ๐Ÿต๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต

๐Ÿ“ Nikko, Japan ๐Ÿ‡ฏ๐Ÿ‡ต

A quiet shrine path in Nikko, surrounded by towering cedar trees, moss-covered stone, and the soft hush of morning mist. This part of Japan is known for its sacred atmosphere, where shrines and temples seem to emerge naturally from the forest rather than stand apart from it.

The quote here reflects seijaku (้™ๅฏ‚) โ€” stillness not as emptiness, but as a kind of clarity. In a place like Nikko, that idea feels easy to understand.
