We did something a little special over the last couple of weeks.
Sometimes when we look at people, all we see is what's right in front of us. When we look at a senior citizen, we see Grandma's and Grandpa's, great uncles and great aunts, but sometimes we forget to see the role models behind those titles. The people who worked hard, sacrificed, preserved and helped build the lives and communities we have today.
They were once young, full of dreams, working long hours, raising families overcoming challenges and paving the way for the generations that came after them.
So over the last couple of weeks we thought we would take a little time to honor them to recognize their stories, their contributions, and the impact they've had on all of us.
Because behind every gray hair is a story,, and behind every story is a life worth celebrating ❤️🌹
