F***ing stoked with this one! Really love how this design turned out on skin. Definitely wanna explore more of this concept, with negative shapes trapped within bold black ornaments

🖤 This tattoo is extra special because I got to tattoo my best friend, someone I’ve literally grown up with. This mf’s been asking me for a tattoo for a long time, so it feels pretty special to finally make it happen 🖤

So, should we do the symmetrical other side?! 🤔

95% done on this chest piece, tattooed over 3 back-to-back days during my guest spot at RAY✺N • NOIR | STUDIO 🖤

Just a few details are still missing. We’ll continue and extend the piece onto the neck during my next visit.

Big S/O to my trooper for sitting through this one! 🔥 It was definitely a challenge, but you handled it like a real soldier.

A very special project inspired by the intricate patterns found on ancient Chinese bronze vessels.

Depicted here is Tāotiè : one of the Four Chinese Calamities, a mythical creature driven by an insatiable appetite.

Half stencil (flower), half freehand (ornamental background).

Done over two back-to-back days during TheMontrealTattooConvention 🖤

Super happy with how it’s coming together so far. One more session to add some shading to the flower 🌹. And we might just make the other side symmetrical too… 🤫
