You hear a lot that everything starts in the gut. After working with clients here in Moose Jaw, I’d add that you don’t always feel it in your gut first.
Plenty of people tell me their digestion feels fine for a long time. What shows up instead is energy crashes, hormone ups and downs, skin flare-ups, slow recovery, and brain fog. In my experience, that’s often a sign the liver is carrying a lot.
So I get curious about the one thing everyone does every single day, which is what goes in your mouth.
That means food, and it also means what lives in your mouth. Bacteria and yeast get swallowed all day long, so they reach your gut first and your liver next.
Here’s the pattern I keep seeing with clients:
What goes in your mouth, what your gut handles, what your liver carries, and what leaves your body.
That last one matters just as much as the rest. Pooping is how your body clears out everything your gut and liver have worked through. When things move regularly, clients feel lighter and clearer. When they don’t, it can feel like everything backs up.
So when you’re looking at your own routine, check your inputs, give your liver some love, care for your gut, and pay attention to your outputs.
When all four get attention, things start to shift.
