Thank you, ISPAN, for a wonderful annual meeting in Toronto this past week! 🤍

It was an absolute blessing to be invited to speak about a passion so close to my heart: elevating our aesthetic and plastic surgery practices to better support women in optimizing their health and outcomes with surgical and non-surgical treatments.

Connecting with incredible colleagues from across North America was equally meaningful. To learn alongside nurses who bring such dedication, expertise, and heart to their work is a reminder of why I am so proud to belong to this specialty.

I’m coming home inspired—with new insights to incorporate into our clinics, knowledge to help our team grow, and practical ways to further enrich the care we provide our patients.

Aesthetic and plastic surgery nursing is a specialty grounded in clinical knowledge, skilled assessment, patient advocacy, and a commitment to continually advancing practice. Thank you, ISPAN, for raising the bar, championing excellence, and setting a high standard for our specialty.

Hello, November. 🍂

As fall winds down, I’m making room to reconnect with the things that give my life meaning.

Purpose in my clinic work and the privilege of caring for others.
Balance between showing up for others and caring for myself.
Faith in the journey, even when the next step isn’t clear.
Love expressed in everyday moments.
Time in the pasture, fresh air, and the quiet of nature.
Friendships nurtured through time and attention.
Loving family relationships strengthened through presence, patience, and shared moments.
Curiosity to keep learning.
Courage to keep growing.

Between clinic life and farm life, I’m reminded how much these connections matter. This November, I want to nurture meaningful success in my work while making space for the people, places, and practices that sustain me.

As we finish out fall and move toward the close of 2026, may we carry forward what matters most—with grateful hearts and renewed intention.
