ɪɴɴᴇʀ ᴡᴏʀᴋ & ᴇᴍʙᴏᴅɪᴇᴅ ᴛʀᴀɴꜱꜰᴏʀᴍᴀᴛɪᴏɴ What does Ritual Union mean?

Ritual Union is more than a phrase; it’s a philosophy and a journey towards self-discovery and universal connection. It’s about creating rhythmic practices in your life, through ceremony, meditation, and nature. ‘Union’ involves meeting your Self, exploring inner unity, and connecting with the larger Self, the universe, the All. In the embrace of Ritual Union, we encourage a regular connection to nature, your body, and the natural world, vital components of your journey towards the self. Ritual Union supports the remembrance of your true self, fostering a regular connection with ‘the sacred,’ source, all that is, and your heart. It’s consciously connecting through rites and ceremony, resulting in healing, empowerment, and a deep sense of wholeness. In this embrace, we find the threads that weave us into the tapestry of existence, creating a harmonious dance between the individual and the cosmos. It’s a sacred journey, a celebration, a portal, and an exploration of the divine within and around us. Hi, I’m Kyla

I am a guide, facilitator, and non-registered counselor, with over 10 years of experience in transformative healing work. Specializing in sound healing, breathwork, and group ceremonies, I offer a diverse range of offerings for personal exploration and expansion. Whether through private sessions or leading group experiences and workshops, my passion lies in guiding spiritual seekers and individuals towards true nature, self-discovery, and personal power. My personal journey into this work began with a profound transformation. At an early age, I was highly attuned to the emotions of others. In my twenties, I faced numerous challenges, leading to a breakdown that ultimately brought me to a deeper connection with myself. Through healing practices such as sound therapy, meditation, breathwork, ceremonial rituals, and profound inner exploration, I delved into various states of consciousness. Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, I emerged with a greater sense of wholeness and personal power. Over the years, I have developed a consistent approach, which is tailored to each client’s needs and experience. My practice is grounded in mindfulness, trust-building, and compassionate care; an approach that I consider essential for ethical and engaged sessions and ceremonies. Sound healing is rooted in the awareness of the vibratory power of sound and the expanded consciousness it invokes. Sound is integral to my offerings and allows me to draw on my own background in music, having a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance from McGill University. I integrate breathwork as a powerful tool in my therapeutic practice, and I’m deepening my skillset to offer my clients Grof® Breathwork, a transformative and self-exploratory practice. Presently, I am enrolled as a trainee at Grof® Legacy Training Canada and Grof® Psychedelic Training Academy under the guidance of Stanislov Grof, a pioneer in transpersonal psychology. I am actively apprenticing and working towards becoming both a Grof® Certified Breathwork Facilitator and a Grof® Certified Psychedelic Therapist. In a world where many find themselves entangled in patterns of low self-esteem, confusion, and anxiety, the inward journey becomes a vital exploration for discovering purpose and meaning. Recognizing the challenges of modern life that often pull our focus outward, I guide individuals towards a deeper connection within. Connection forms the core of my approach, emphasizing the power of human bonds through shared, group experiences. Highlighting the power of group experiences, healing may amplify, and we remember we are not alone in our suffering or life’s challenges. It can be liberating and connective to be in a sacred space together. Some of my clients are new to self-exploration and are ready to take the first step in transforming their lives into more purposeful ones. It is in these moments that I can hold space for them to remember what is truly important. I have witnessed clients that have healed many of their painful patterns and emotional wounds and wish to develop an empowered, spirit-led life. My clientele has included individuals in addiction recovery, where I have successfully implemented interventions to facilitate healing. I have also provided sound therapy to both children and adults with elevated needs. Regardless of why people choose to come to see me, they are looking for support towards healing, expansion, and wholeness. Trusting in the unfolding process of life, aligning with our truth, and taking responsibility leads to freedom and the ability to shape our reality. Join me on this empowering journey towards a life lived with purpose and conscious intent.

There are many doorways into healing, and no two journeys look the same.

Whether we begin with the body, the emotions, the mind, or the spirit, my intention is to support the whole person and create space for greater balance, harmony, and wholeness.

I'm grateful to be expanding my offerings and am now seeing clients on Mondays out of Shockwave Specialists in Qualicum Beach.

Integrated Healing • 90 minutes • In-person

These sessions are for those longing to go deeper. Together we explore the emotional, physical, mental, relational, energetic, and spiritual dimensions of life, bringing awareness to patterns and layers that may be asking for attention. Drawing from breathwork, bodywork, sound and frequency healing, energy work, and holistic counselling, each session unfolds in response to what is most present, supporting meaningful shifts, greater self-understanding, and lasting integration.

Holistic Counselling • 60 minutes • Online or In-person

A space for reflection, emotional processing, and self-inquiry. These sessions support life transitions, grief, relationships, nervous system overwhelm, questions of meaning and purpose, and the integration of transformative experiences. Sometimes we simply need a place to be heard, gain perspective, and make sense of the complexities of being human.

Shockwave Therapy • 20–40 minutes • In-person

A non-invasive treatment designed to support healing, improve mobility, and address chronic pain and injuries. By stimulating the body's natural recovery processes, shockwave therapy can help restore movement and function, creating more ease and freedom in daily life.

These offerings often work beautifully together depending on what a person is navigating, allowing care to be tailored to the unique needs of each individual.

I also continue to offer private group Sound Baths, GROF® Breathwork experiences, and public gatherings throughout the year.

Sound Bath at — Sunday, May 31 from 1-2:30pm

A sound bath offers an intimate experience of deep rest and renewal. Rooted in ancient traditions of sound as medicine and shaped by an embodied, heart-led approach, each offering is as unique as the people present.

Through singing bowls, gong, vocal toning, and other resonant instruments, vibration moves through the body, mind, and spirit, supporting balance and expanded awareness. For some, this is a deeply soulful experience. Some may notice physical or emotional release, while others may journey into expanded or transpersonal states of consciousness. Each experience unfolds in its own way, guided by an innate movement toward wholeness.

SHOCKWAVE THERAPY

I am currently in training in shockwave therapy for lower body regions (knees down).

Shockwave therapy uses acoustic waves to support circulation, stimulate tissue repair, and reduce pain. It can help with areas of chronic tension or injury that have been slow to resolve.

This work complements the inner work I offer. While our sessions support emotional processing and awareness, shockwave therapy addresses the body directly, supporting areas that may need additional input to move toward resolution.

Sessions are available through Shockwave Specialists in Qualicum Beach.

Practices that bring us into holotropic states of consciousness, healing states that move us toward wholeness, like breathwork, sound baths, meditation, or movement, can deeply affect the nervous system. The state of the nervous system shapes how we experience ourselves, how we relate, and how the world feels from the inside.

In holotropic states, the system has the opportunity to move through processes that are not always available in ordinary awareness. This can include insight, emotional release, experiences of repair, the integration of earlier experiences, or a return to stillness, clarity, and peace. As the inner landscape shifts, the way we see ourselves and the world often shifts with it.

Over time this expands what is often called the window of tolerance, the range of experience we can stay present with without becoming overwhelmed, reactive, or shut down. With more capacity in the system, there is more space between what happens and how we respond.

Part of this has to do with how the limbic system and prefrontal cortex work together. The limbic system drives survival responses like fight, flight, or freeze, while the prefrontal cortex supports awareness, reflection, and the ability to stay present.

When the system is under strain, survival responses take over. When the system feels supported, the prefrontal cortex comes back online and we have more room to feel, think clearly, and respond with intention.

Repeated experiences in these states help the nervous system learn regulation. Early patterns run deep, but they are not fixed. With enough experiences of safety, awareness, and integration, the system can reorganize in a more steady and open way.

This is why inner work matters. Not just to feel better, but to live with more freedom, more space, and the capacity to move beyond early conditioning into a more whole way of living.

Also known as sound meditation, a sound bath is a deeply restorative experience that invites the body into the calming rhythms of the parasympathetic nervous system while gently shifting brainwave states.

Join Kyla Campbell for a journey into deep relaxation and energetic balance. Through the resonant tones of singing bowls, vocal toning, and other sacred instruments, the body is supported in softening, releasing, and returning to a more harmonious frequency.

In this space of vibration and stillness, subtle yet profound shifts can unfold.
