TheraPsil is honoured to be the training partner for Building Capacity and Healing, a First Nations-led study from the First Nations Health and Social Secretariat of Manitoba.
FNHSSM works with 63 First Nations across Manitoba to advance health and well-being and support First Nations-led decision-making in care.
Led by Principal Investigator Dr. Wanda Phillips-Beck, the study pairs traditional teachings and healing practices with education on psychedelic-assisted therapy, building readiness among the healers, clinicians, and wellness workers who support people through PTSD and substance use.
TheraPsil provides the psilocybin education, and the training is free for everyone who takes part.
If you support patients within the treaty territory of the Cree (Ininiwak), Métis, and Anishinaabe (Ojibwe) peoples, this is for you. The training runs over two weekends: November 6 to 8 and 20 to 22. Expressions of interest close October 14.
Thank you to FNHSSM for welcoming us into this work.
