“In posture, the lateral line works to bring balance to the front and the back of the body, and bilaterally to balance left and right.

The great intuitive mediator, the Lateral Line of muscles act to prevent the body from buckling as we drive ourselves forward performing everyday tasks.
It endeavours to hold us straight, up right, in a strong and confident posture.

In movement the Lateral Line participates in creating a side bend of the trunk, abduction of the hip, and eversion of the foot. In turn we look for changes in lateral line when considering pain and dysfunction in the body that may relate to a shift in the way the lateral line functions.”

Now that the creative plate has been eaten off of, washed in water, wiped cleaned, dried and put in the cupboard, it time to plan for the next meal.
PS: Bernie and I laughed so heartily yesterday. It took us about an hour to do three songs but I was only able to be happy with my singing input on this one.
Bernie popped it into my schedule during a free hour after lunch between my studio meetings.
So glad he did. One out of three is good.

#livingwell All my life, I have found that I can easily be pulled into working long hours every week. Very easy to have happen as a small business owner in my #Pilates profession, to the exclusion of other interests. Before I realize it I haven’t taken a break from “work.” That is one reason why it works well for me to have seasonal breaks between my Seasonal studio class schedule. #precovid was easy to plan #vacation get aways and #travel , which I love and miss. Not an option now.
I am also someone who loves to keep her hands busy and her mind active. I’m a Do-er.
It’s essential for me to have varied interests. #Gardening is one.
