After the birth of our 4th son, I could not in any way describe myself as healthy. Pregnancies had thrown me through so many loops: Preeclampsia, high blood pressure, migraines, hormonal imbalance, post-partum depression, weight gain, fatigue, etc. I could hardly run and play with my children. Sound familiar? The story is so very similar to countless others... Fact is however, that when we talk to our grandmothers most of these things were much less prevalent than they are today. I asked myself what's changed? The most obvious answer was "food".....
