When I was pondering today what to post for Majestic Monday, I heard

"Let Love In."

We all have moments where we close off our hearts to others and the world around us as a form of protection.

Connecting to our heart on the regular, simply by placing a hand on our heart space and taking a few deep breaths, opens us up to more, well to everything, including love.💖

A lovely little gift from spirit today, a heart, the universal symbol of love.

Beautiful cool morning for some bone broth and meditation on the front porch.

Meditation is the gentle drifting back and forth from your point of attention (like your breath or a mantra) to your thoughts.

As a thought comes in during your meditation, don't fight it. Just let the thought drift away like the clouds and come back to your breath or mantra.

This beautiful Majestic Dawn Redwood was one of the first planted in Canada back in 1952. The Dawn Redwood is considered a living fossil as it dates back to when dinosaurs roamed the earth (the Mesozoic Era).

To see this majestic beauty with your own eyes, it can be found at the Royal Botanical Gardens.

What a symbol of deep roots, strength, resilience, trust, history, and wisdom this tree encompasses. There is so much we can learn from a tree if only we silent our thoughts long enough to hear and be present enough to listen. What stories this tree would tell.

Today, while at the Royal Botanical Gardens and then their Rock Garden, I was in awe of the butterflies. They were flying all about, barely landing long enough to take a picture. Sometimes, there would be two of them dancing together in the air. Occasionally, some of them would be so present in the moment that one butterfly would land on another butterfly on a flower and so began a dance amongst the flowers.

All of it was so beautiful to see. The butterflies truly looked happy and free.

For today's Majestic Monday, let's connect to the beautiful energy of the butterfly.

"I spread my wings happy and free."
