Did you know that sleep apnea doesn’t always = CPAP? Long-term compliance rates for CPAP therapy are approx. 50%. Oral appliances have made significant improvements and are a great alternative. In addition, 55% to 65% of people who suffer from sleep apnea are positional in nature, meaning they only have issues breathing when they are on their back. THC vs CBD?

THC, the psychoactive component that is primarily responsible for the "high" associated with ma*****na use but more importantly responsible for nickname “Dream Stealer”. This is due to the effects it has on our REM stages of sleep. Studies have proven that the use of ma*****na can disrupt the sleep cycle by reducing REM (rapid eye movement) sleep. The stage of sleep associated with dreaming and memory consolidation. This can lead to feeling less rested upon waking.

On the other side of the leaf, CBD the non-psychoactive component, does not produce a "high" like THC. Meaning that CBD does not seem to significantly alter REM sleep, so it may not disrupt the sleep cycle in the same way.

How does it work?
