I know what it's trying to say here, BUT I disagree. I have met and personally know a number of people who have had a really dark past but have the biggest and purest of heart. They are very trusting, very giving. Don't think that they are some weaklings ok. Many of the men are really alpha male, many being involved with the wrong side of the law due to circumstances but they are now clean - they are such gentle giants. Some of the men and women have had that childhood robbed, some with irreversible damage, yet they still love deeply and hold so much compassion for others. The fact is - most people are raised on survival mode. Even so, not all are conditioned to fear love. Some of them, like me, when we love, we love, we don't know any other way. Vice versa, there are people raised on love. Good loving parents, role models to many in community or even society, respectable, do no wrongs - but their children just grow up constantly getting themselves in troubled situations. So to me, this statement may have been made with good intentions, it is not a representation of the real world. Whatever it is, we should always let love be the driving force behind everything we do. I will be teaching a group of Midwifes how to give very simple but critical Craniosacral for newborns. It will help prevent one source of autisum, ADHD, dyslexia and adult depression. It takes 3-5 mintues to do. Any one else who is around infants frequently interested in learning?
