If your hands and feet turn to ice as soon as the weather cools, you’re definitely not alone. 🧊

Heat widens your blood vessels and cold narrows them, so moving between the two gives your circulation a steady rhythm of opening up and tightening back down. Many people find that this regular practice helps them feel warmer and more comfortable as the temperature drops.

Swipe through for the full breakdown, and save this for the first truly cold morning. ☕

If you have any health conditions or concerns, check with your doctor before trying contrast therapy.

🥇 We’re incredibly honoured to announce that Shelter has won GOLD for Best New Business!

What started as a vision to create a unique wellness experience on Okanagan Lake has grown into something far greater than we could have imagined—and that’s because of YOU.

To every person who booked a session, shared our business with friends and family, posted about your experience, left a review, supported us online, cheered us on, or simply believed in what we were building: thank you. Your support has meant everything.

Thank you for helping make Shelter what it is today. We can’t wait to welcome you back for more sauna sessions, cold plunges, sunsets, and connection.

And a big congrats to our fellow award winners, you all are amazing!

Things that make sense after you’ve done contrast therapy but sound completely unhinged before…

✅”I voluntarily jumped into 2°C water and loved it!”
✅”The best part of my week is sitting in 90°C heat until I can’t take it anymore.”
✅”I pay money to stress my body on purpose.”
✅”I’ve never felt calmer than right after gasping in ice water.”

Before you try it: sounds insane.
After you try it: makes complete sense.
