RESTORE
Restore is a calming, slow-paced class in which most of the poses are seated or laying down and held for upwards of 5 minutes.
Bolsters, blocks, and blankets are used to support you in the poses so that you can experience the ultimate level of relaxation.
Expect to be still, guided in some gentle stretches, breathe, and meditate.

What is Barre?
At Salti, Barre is a high energy fitness class with music.
Barre will challenge your body with dynamic movements that pull from the worlds of dance and fitness (no dance training required!). A traditional ballet-style barre and other props are used to support, strengthen and sculpt muscle groups.
All levels welcome, modifications will be provided.
You can find Barre on our schedule at the Kingston studio location on Tuesdays at 6pm. (Coming back to PTBO soon!)

Meet Jo, Yoga Teacher at Salti Yoga Kingston 🖤
"I trained as a dancer for 14 years, with bits and pieces of yoga practice here and there. It was only when I played one of the main roles in a musical (Grease, I was Rizzo) that I decided to take on an at-home practice to make up for all of the dance classes I was missing. Over the course of this new venture, I discovered the depths that yoga practice can go. That it’s much more than just moving your body, although that part is revolutionary on its own. I have a history with trauma, and yoga and meditation have been integral to my recovery process. My approach is to work with your body rather than on your body, and thus we create a practice that is sustainable and meets you where you are today, no matter where that may be. Together, we will uncover what “being a better friend to yourself” means for you, and lovingly challenge ourselves to meet our appropriate edge."

Meet Kat, yoga teacher at Salti Yoga Kingston 🖤
"I had fallen deeply in love with yoga after attending a class in 2010 and found that it helped my body be strong and flexible.
I also learned that breath work and mindfulness had a big positive impact on my mental health.
As a practising RMT, I give clients exercises to help them decrease their pain.
Because yoga is such a big part of my life, I wanted to give them a yoga flow to meet their goals, abilities and limitations.
I did my 200HR YTT in Brockville in 2019.
I began teaching clients privately and quickly realized that I need more of this in my life. So I incorporated teaching classes at a local studio and clinic and genuinely look forward to every practice.
I encourage students to find the kind of practice that suits them each time they step onto their mat, challenging (with awareness) when they choose and respectfully listening to the body’s signals.
I guide people in using their breath and focus to find stillness in the mind, supporting their holistic wellness.
Oh, and I also love raising two super cool kids and a huge dog (Newf), running and painting!"
