Pebble Beach Prawns We sell live whole BC spot prawns during fishing Season, and frozen spot prawn tails in-Season and post-Season, all harvested by our commercial fishing vessel.

The prawns are processed aboard our boat using strict procedures to ensure top quality. ***We are currently Sold-Out for the 2020 Season***

The Korays had a big turnout yesterday and sold most of their halibut. While the easy route is simply to sell their entire catch to a company, that kind of community support is what keeps them coming back. They only have a few fish left so if you want some, I’d get there early.

When commercial fishing was a bigger industry, many more young people got a chance to go out on the boats than today. They had an experience that lasted a lifetime. Most would move on to other occupations but they never forgot the hard work, the challenges they overcame and nature at its finest.
At only 11 years old, young Tarren went out with his Dad, Doug And, his grandfather John Koray on a 3 week long lining trip where there was no place to hide. Apparently he nailed it and will be continuing to help out at their halibut sale on Wednesday and Thursday starting at 9 AM in the morning at the Westview dock.

John and Doug Koray will start selling their halibut at 9 am this Wednesday, September 30 and, if supplies last, on Thursday too. The price is 15.00/lb, up a buck from last year to cover much higher diesel expense. The fish are sold whole and weigh 12 to 25 lb - with the majority somewhere in the middle. I am looking forward to having fresh halibut for a few days and being able to portion the rest to last us till next year. There will be more crew on hand this year so you don’t have to wait in line so long.
