Prescott Family Health Team (PFHT) is a group of health care professionals working collaboratively to provide comprehensive and accessible health care.

Services are provided by a intradisciplinary team including administration, reception, dietitian, nurses, nurse practitioner, physicians, and a social worker, Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant. Patients and families have access to an internist and psychiatrist; these services are fully integrated at the Prescott clinic.

This afternoon, we were thrilled to officially welcome our newest physician, Dr. Bennet Ladowski, to the Prescott community! 🎉

While Dr. Ladowski has joined Prescott Family Medical Associates (PFMA), our physicians work closely with the Prescott Family Health Team (PFHT) and its dedicated staff to provide collaborative, team-based care to our community.

We were pleased to have Dr. Matthew Cooke, Lead Physician, officially welcome Dr. Ladowski, along with Dr. Dinny Mathew, Executive Director of PFHT. Dr. Nikhil Bhat, Co-Chair of the Primary Care Network of Ontario Health Teams and a physician with our team, also spoke about the importance of strengthening primary care in our community.

We were especially grateful to have MPP Steve Clark with us to officially welcome Dr. Ladowski, along with Mayor Gauri Shankar of the Town of Prescott, Ontario (Official) and members of Town Council. We were also joined by representatives from the Augusta Township and the Township of Edwardsburgh/Cardinal, including Deputy Mayors Adrian Wynands and Stephen Dillabough, along with other members of council.

The afternoon provided an opportunity to discuss how we can continue moving our primary care plans forward and, most importantly, how Dr. Ladowski will help reduce the wait list and connect more patients in our area to primary care.

Dr. Ladowski is a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician with broad experience in comprehensive family medicine. Having recently moved to the area from the United States with his family, he is looking forward to becoming part of the Prescott community. He brings a strong commitment to compassionate, patient-centred care, with experience caring for patients across the lifespan and a particular interest in supporting diverse and underserved communities.

Dr. Ladowski also has a passion for medical education and teaching, with an approach to medicine that emphasizes listening, clear communication, collaboration, and coordinated care.

Dr. Ladowski, we are delighted to welcome you to Prescott and look forward to having you as part of our broader primary care community. We are excited about the experience, energy, and commitment you bring to our community and, most importantly, about the difference we can make together in the lives of our patients.

🌟Great News for our Team and our Area!🎉🥳

We are excited to announce that we have received new funding from the Ontario Ministry of Health that will allow us to attach 1,115 patients in the South Grenville area from the Health Care Connect waitlist and expand access to team-based primary care🥳.

We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity to welcome more patients to our primary care team and continue strengthening the care and services we provide to our community.
