Lately I noticed that many women who come to me are feeling overwhelmed, stuck in their heads, or simply carrying too much.
Their minds are busy processing the day, while their bodies are holding the weight — maybe as tension in the shoulders, heaviness in the chest, or a feeling of being disconnected from themselves.
If this sounds familiar, try this simple practice.
Sit somewhere comfortable and close your eyes.
Rub your hands together gently until you feel some warmth. Place your palms on your chest and belly.
Take a few slow, comfortable breaths and notice the warmth of your hands.
Feel the support underneath you — your feet on the floor, your body supported by the chair.
Stay there for a few breaths.
Nothing to fix or do.
Just notice.
This is a simple way to pause the mental noise and reconnect with what is happening in your body.
Try it once during the day, especially when you notice yourself getting overwhelmed, and again before bed.
