đ Restock Time! A Few of Our Favourite Herbal Staples
As the temperatures begin to drop, it's time to replenish some of our favourite herbal staples in the kitchen!
There's something comforting about a warm cup of herbal tea, especially during the colder months. Beyond the warmth, herbs can offer gentle support for digestion, relaxation, and overall well-being.
đż Lemon Balm
- Traditionally used to promote relaxation and calm.
- May help ease mild stress and nervous tension.
- A lovely addition to an evening routine when it's time to unwind.
đŤ Elderberry
- Rich in naturally occurring anthocyanins, which have antioxidant properties.
- Traditionally used during cold and flu season.
- Some research suggests elderberry preparations may help reduce the duration of certain respiratory symptoms, although evidence remains limited.
đą Peppermint
- Traditionally used to support digestion.
- May help ease occasional bloating and digestive discomfort.
- Its refreshing aroma makes it a wonderful herbal tea after meals.
As a holistic nutritionist, I believe wellness often begins with the small, consistent habits we incorporate into our everyday lives.
A nourishing routine doesn't have to be complicated. Sometimes it's as simple as slowing down, preparing a warm cup of tea, and taking a few moments for yourself.
