✨ GUEST ARTIST ALERT! ✨

Her Specialties: Master blonding (she swears foiling is therapy! 💇‍♀️), textured cuts, long layers, and razor cutting.

She’s excited to make some hair magic, meet new faces, and have a creative home base whenever she’s back visiting family.

🧡 Today, we pause to remember the children who never returned home, honour residential school survivors, and recognize the lasting impacts of colonialism on Indigenous peoples, families, and communities.

At Birch & Lace, we believe that caring for our community means caring for the people, land, and stories that make this place home. Reconciliation asks us to do more than acknowledge the land beneath our feet — it asks us to listen, learn, reflect, and take meaningful action.

🧡 We acknowledge that we live, work, and gather on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Sinixt, Ktunaxa, Secwépemc, and Syilx peoples.

We honour the enduring relationships these Nations have with the land and waters of this region and recognize the generations of knowledge, culture, and stewardship that continue today.

As a business rooted in community and deeply connected to the natural beauty that surrounds us, we have a responsibility to keep learning about the history of this place and to consider how our everyday choices can contribute to a more respectful and inclusive future.

🧡 Today, and throughout the year, we encourage our team and our community to listen to Indigenous voices, support Indigenous-led initiatives, and continue the work of learning and reconciliation.

🧡 We remember. We listen. We learn. We act. Every Child Matters.
