Link in bio 👆 A new hair loss pill just passed Phase 3. Here’s what nobody’s saying out loud: it’s minoxidil.

Veradermics announced this week that its extended-release oral minoxidil hit its targets in a 536-man trial, and it could become the first FDA-approved hair loss pill since 1997. That’s a real milestone.

But thousands of you already take oral minoxidil off-label as a cheap generic. This trial compared the new pill to placebo, not to the generic you’re on. So the question for patients isn’t “does it work?” It’s “what am I actually getting that I don’t have now?”
