🧡 Today, on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Modern Pharmacy pauses to reflect on the tragic history and enduring legacy of residential schools. We wear orange to honor the survivors, the children who never came home, and their families and communities.
As a healthcare provider, we recognize that true reconciliation involves acknowledging the systemic barriers and health inequities that Indigenous communities continue to face. We remain committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and culturally respectful environment for everyone who walks through our doors.
Our team is taking time today to listen, learn, and reflect on how we can better support Indigenous health and wellness in our community. We encourage everyone to join us in reflecting on our shared history and exploring ways to advance reconciliation together.

Join us in celebrating our community pharmacists across B.C. who advance patient care, strengthen our health system, and show up every day with expertise, compassion, and commitment. Thank you for all you do.

Hello Everyone. In June I contacted Canadian Blood Services to see if we could have a mobile unit here in Rosedale and see if we could organize an event to allow people to donate blood. Unfortunately I was told that way too expensive to have it here due to high cost of logistics and labor. I keep seeing more and more that our reserves of blood is depleting and there's an urgent need for blood donation.
If you are eligible there's
First Avenue Church
46510 First Ave
Chilliwack, BC, V2P 1W9
where they are collecting, otherwise the next closest one is Abbotsford.

Please check first if you are eligible before booking.
