Before becoming the brace you know today, XTERN went through many stages: ideas, testing, adjustments, and multiple prototypes.

Each version helped evolve the concept and further develop the solution François CÎté originally imagined to address his own foot drop.

This month, we want to recognize the important role physical therapists play in supporting people with mobility challenges, including those living with foot drop.

Assessing gait, mobility, and each person’s individual needs can help provide a better understanding of their reality and guide them toward appropriate solutions.

At TurboMed, the XTERN can also be tried in a clinical setting using the AT-X assessment tool, designed to allow patients to test the brace before purchasing it.

During this month dedicated to them, thank you to physical therapists for the work you do to support people facing mobility challenges.

Kate recently walked six miles through London as part of the famous Bridges of London Walk, crossing five bridges over the River Thames and passing some of the city’s most iconic landmarks.
