That first sentence is really what I aim to do daily but with the hustle of being a mom, business owner and Pharmacist, I often cannot check off all these items.
I take nutritional supplements simply to cover my bases because I cannot possibly be perfect in my lifestyle. If you are curious, here’s what I take:
⭐️NAC: for oxidative stress (converts to Glutathione), immune support and respiratory support (since I have Asthma)
⭐️B Complex: I don’t eat a lot of bread or pasta which are sources of B vitamins. The AOR brand makes an activated version of B vitamins which help with energy, skin and nails.
⭐️Omega 3: so necessary for brain, heart and skin. I don’t eat fish daily so this is a must. This is one supplement I think everyone should take.
⭐️Magnesium Glycinate: For me, this is for sleep and to help reduce menstrual cramps.
⭐️Gastro Relief: for my heartburn/acid reflux. I really don’t want to take a PPI, which can affect gut health.
⭐️Pro and Postbiotics: gut health is so important. I am mindful of maintaining a healthy gut microbiome, which actually helps me crave healthier food. Otherwise, I would only crave junk.
⭐️Stress Complex: Aswagandha and L-Theanine to help regulate my cortisol levels from all the stress of life
There is actually a sweet spot for starting on bioidentical hormone therapy when hormone levels decline, which can help to lessen and prevent the impeding health changes that can really affect women’s quality of life.
