I come across many new "mothers to be" and kids in my practice from all age groups who's parents are concerned either due to there lack of focus, poor concentration, hyperactivity or sometimes lack of interests in normal things like sports, homework... etc. My youngest PCOS client was 13 when she was brought by her mom saying she has mood swings and very heavy painful bleeding and was about to go on birth control pills, which mother was disturbed about.
It hurts me to see any kid in pain or going through a tough situation where they feel helpless, because growing up I had the best childhood, full of love and fun so I don't want an iota different to any child.
Many parents who are lacking in the understanding that certain things which modern world has considered normal are NOT ok e.g teeth filling, or taking out tonsils...so many kids are either on hunger suppressants or some syrup to feel more hungry to increase weight.... young teens find it ok to take painkillers every month when it's time of there monthly cycle or facial hair which is usually lasered now ,hair fall is treated by changing hair oils or shampoos and acne is treated by taking serious topical creams and lotions. No one asks the question that why do I have this acne in the first place or what is my hair fall suggesting me? I try to educate both mother and child about how our body talks to us in different ways e.g pink tongue nails and gums means you are healthy and pale skin hair fall acne and PMS means please help me internally.
Environment has a huge impact on our body.
Every year 100s of new chemicals are being introduced in our environment which play havocs on our very sensitive and smart endocrine system. Research is showing that fetus and child exposed to environmental neurotoxin, silent damage is inflicted on the brain that contributes much later to overwhelming damage, e.g the development of Parkinsons is significantly correlated with postnatal exposure to pesticides which diminsh the number of neurons that maintain appropriate levels of dopamine responsible for all fine motor movements.π

Your plate can save the world!!π
Sustainable eating is important. Latest Harvard study on modern dietary habits unveiled a grueling truth: we are eating too many animal products, too many calories and too much processed foods. Our system is so off that roughly 2 billion people are malnourished and while other 2 billion are obese and over weight.
For centuries, humans lived agrarian lifestyle. It consisted of plant heavy diet with occasional meat consumption. This helped our diet balanced, but with modern commercial farming we grab a steak like morning paper. Meat production contributes to 70%of the total green house gas emissions produced by farms. With the increased global demand for the animal products, we're raising more animals, and polluting our soil and water and raising global temperatures . It takes roughly 7lbs of grain to produce just 1lbs of beef, and 3lbs of grain to produce 1 lbs of chicken.
When it comes to sustainable food production, organic produce is the conscientious choice.free of environment choking pesticides and engineered GMOs that have been linked to cancers, soil and water contamination and poisoning of our wild life.
Start eating with planet in mind:
1. Be mindful of your plate proportion.
2. Write down your menu ahead and try to keep meat intake cut in half.
4. Practice self graciousness is the healthiest way to maintain a change in behavior. Remember you are doing somehting Incredible. Teach the same to your kids for future. You won't believe but everyday meal could help set the table for for your children's future.
On the days your cutting out meat, try subbing in mushrooms, eggplants, legumes, tofu or tempeh ...all fantastic options that will satiate your cravings. But if your still bit satisfied then invest time in making incredible sauce. That enhances the tastes. Stir fry is a great option. π

When YOUR inner self is at peace, YOUR outer self reflects it.
I have always hugged trees even growing up. Back then I didn't understand the power of this act; aside from that, people made fun of my action.
Trees are very powerful, according to Taoist masters. Aside from absorbing carbon dioxide and turning it into oxygen, trees also can absorb negative energy and transform it into positive.
A tree's vibrational patterns have a healing, revitalizing effect, which can help us feel more grounded. Plus, hugging a tree (just like hugging a human) increases levels of oxytocin, aka the love hormone, which reduces stress and increases happiness.

04/04/2022
I try to find happiness in the smallest of things. Flowers, trees, bright sky, clouds, and sea are reasons for my happiness. These bring me so much energy and high vibrations.

04/04/2022
Spending time in nature helps us reconnect with our inner selves and lower stress levels. Remember grounding by getting rid of those rubber shoes and walking barefoot.

Blood works are only snapshots of our health. When you get your blood tests checked, ensure with your practitioners that the results are not only within normal ranges but optimal too.
The reference range for a blood test may be mathematically calculated from a number of individuals who represent a normal population taking a specific blood test.
I target optimal ranges for all my clients rather than just normal reference ranges because optimal reference ranges are different from the normal lab ranges as they are based on the research rather than a calculated average. Optimal ranges do not change from year to year unless there is scientific research or clinical evidence to justify a change.π

In our 24/7 world, it is easy to get overwhelmed as we try to balance the obligations of work, finances, and relationships. Mild depression, inability to focus, anxiety, fatigue, insomnia, and lack of motivation can be signs of stress. While there is no quick fix for life's pressures, there are several natural stress busters that do offer surprisingly rapid relief as well as long-term support. Following are some natural ones:
1. L-theanine
2. Good bacteria
3. B vitamins
4. Adaptors
5. Omega3
Perception is everything, it Γ¬s not what happens in our lives but what we think what happenstance causes stress. CBT and mindfulness techniques can go a long way to stopping stress before it starts.π

We think that raw food has more nutrients, and cooking or heat destroys majority of the nutrients.
With the exception of vitamin C, the absorption of most nutrients from plant based foods is generally enhanced by lightly cooking them, in fact some of the important phytochemicals cant be liberated from plant cell walls without some cooking. Let me get a good example and nothing better than lycopene, the red plant pigment which is great for heart health and prostate health benefits is naturally found in fresh tomatoes but the amount become higher and more readily available to the body if tomatoes are cooked instead of raw.
same for so many other veges like kale, spinach.....π

We always associate protein with its power to build lean muscles but the benefits are much greater. Protein is important for:-
Boosting metabolism
Balancing blood sugar
Nourishing Adrenal glands
Supporting the immune system.
Building the repairing tissue
producing Hormones
Improving mood
Increasing Energy
One of the misconceptions is that protein should always come from meat. Yes, lean meat is a great source of protein but there are so many other sources like eggs, nut butter, nut milk, dairy, legumes, and ancient grains. Protein powders are a good and easy source of protein.

Found these African guavas in the grocery store and was fascinated by the large size. This plate is a great meal replacement. When you want your digestion to take a break from all the holiday/ party food.
Guava has good fiber and is low on the glycemic index so even diabetics can enjoy it. This fruit is heart-healthy, great for digestion, has anti-cancer effects, boosts immunity, and so on.
Papaya is another fruit that is super fruit. It's great for digestion and heart health, especially cholesterol. It contains high levels of antioxidants, vitamins A, C, and E.
Kiwi fruit has been said to fix the mutation in our DNA by 66%.. this is the new research that has come up. It is rich in vitamin C and dietary fiber, which makes it great for digestion, heart health, and immunity. Eating one kiwi fruit a day is said to give amazing health benefits.π

Start your day with a glass of lemon water to balance your hormones.
The alkalizing effects of the lemon water, along with its liver supporting properties, ensure that the body is metabolizing and breaking down damaging toxins derived from our environment. many of these damaging toxins come in the form of harmful excess estrogen we take in just by living in this modern society and using products that contain plastics ( BPA) , pesticides, cosmetics, and house hold cleaners. These substances disrupt our hormonal balance. Kick start your day with this fountain/tonic of youth.
Benefits of drinking lemon water early in the day are :
1. Fighting inflammation
2. Supporting a healthy immune system
3. Aiding Digestion.
4. Hydration
5. Detoxifying
6. Boosting Metabolism
prepare a cup of warm water or even room temperature will be OK (NEVER cold ). cut a lemon and juice half of it add it to water. drinking this potion half an hour before your breakfastπ

Adrenals affect women's hormones :
The adrenal plays an important role, especially during the more dramatic hormonal changes during peri-menopausal and or menopause. when the adrenal glands are working properly, they produce adequate amounts of precursor hormones that are further synthesized into estrogen and testosterone to balance the diminished production from the ovaries. However many women today have adrenal insufficiency due to chronic stress, and the adrenal glands are unable to respond to these additional demands. As a result, many women have a very difficult time with the transition into menopause.
I help, guide, and educate my clients on how to take care of their adrenals through a good diet and lifestyle. We shouldn't feel lost, angry, lonely when entering in peri and menopausal phases. But I always advise my clients to start preparing for this phased way before and bring their body into harmony and balance so the transition is easy and smooth and not a nightmare. Your diet will do almost 80% of the work and rest is a lifestyle.

An instinct. A sixth sense, we sometimes say a gut feeling. sometimes when we have a decision to make we feel almost overtaken by a recognition of what we should do...or shouldn't do. when reasoning fails, words escape us and yet the instinct persists, we're often smart to go with our gut and do what, deep inside, we feel is best.
Although the head, head, and gut brains work together, they have obvious differences in physical function. they also play different mental and emotional roles. The brain analyzes information and applies logic. In contrast, the heart-brain senses the world through emotions and feelings, and our gut brain is used for understanding our identity and who we are in this world.
In recent years the gut microbiota has become a major topic of research, and what scientists have learned has been astounding. The gut bacteria, often viewed as lowly little creatures, are quite sophisticated in their social interactions. Infact, they communicate with one another through electrical signaling and another mechanism that very much resembles how neurons communicate in the brain. Studies show that the role of the gut-brain is to monitor and integrate gut functions, but that's not all. it also forms a link between the emotional and cognitive centers of our three-part brain.π

In my practice I come across so many women with same health concerns which are: " I have no energy ; I am so stressed ; I cant sleep ; my moods are out of control !! "
Out of control hormones can cause or mimic many medical issues, and they can have a serious health impact on the quality of life.
Fluctuating hormone levels occur during a woman's menstrual cycle, and during and after pregnancy. For most women, the most pronounced hormonal changes occur in their 40s and 50s related to menopause, but the initial impacts are frequently seen as early as the mid 30s. In fact more and more women are noticing hormonal imbalances much earlier, some even in their teens. This unfortunately, has a lot to do with our lifestyles and diet, but also the environment that we live in e.g xenoestrogens.
Some of the most common symptoms of hormonal imbalances are :
* Belly fat
*persistent weight gain
*Fatigue
*poor sleep
*Anxiety/depression
*Cravings
*Low libido
*Hair loss
These are the sneaky ways hormones imbalances can affect not just your body but your life. I have helped many women to help correct the hormonal imbalances through diet, lifestyle and supplementation. Alot of my clients were taking wrong kind/type of supplements after reading in a magazine or told by someone, which must be corrected.

Omega 3 helps moisturize the skin, prevent aging, decrease wrinkles, treat acne, and protect the skin from sunburn. This type of fat helps strengthen the skin and keep it looking plump and healthy. Omega 3 also keeps the skin hydrated because it strengthens the cell membranes that wall off water loss through the skin. Added to a diet rich in antioxidants, omega 3 acts as a natural moisturizer from the inside out. Omega 3 fatty acid also builds healthier skin by reducing the body's production of inflammatory compounds, the natural chemicals involved in the aging process.
Hair benefits from omega 3 too. They help nourish the hair follicles for healthier, stronger, and shinier tresses while also diminishing dry flaky scalp.
Omega 3 is found in cold-water fish, nuts, seeds, ( chia, flax, olives, coconut oil, h**p, walnuts, almonds, salmon, tuna, mackerel, sardines, and anchovies)π
