Sure it’s messy and a lot of work, Williams constantly eating sand and Benji tries to eat the seaweed. I’m chasing one one way then the other goes the opposite. But these memories will last a lifetime. They allow me to be nothing but present with them and see the world through their eyes.

If we always stayed home because it’s easier to stay home than it is to go out and explore we would miss endless opportunities to make memories and build connections.

Here I am 35 weeks pregnant!

It's been a minute since I last posted on here and a lot of that has been very intentional. This pregnancy has been all-consuming and my focus has been on being as present as possible with Benjamin while getting in as much rest as I can in between.

Only have I just now felt the realness and readiness of this second little light that will be joining us soon. I am also unusually excited about labour and so ready to be done being pregnant! 😜

Intuition is the first language we are born with. It is the language of love. It needs no words and it is solely based on feeling, of presence.

It's that deep knowing that something isn’t quite right or that you are absolutely certain your on the right track.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Its that all over body sensation.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But from an early age, we begin to lose our connection with our intuition. We are told to think with our minds and ignore our hearts. Use our brains and don’t trust our gut.

If you have abandoned your intuition it's like walking through life in the pitch black with half dead batteries. YOU ARE MISSING OUT. YOU ARE NOT SEEING WHAT'S AROUND YOU – what's out there.

How can you look at stress differently, how can you revaluate it, observe it as an experience and realize if the type of stress you are experience is beneficial or detrimental to your health and how you can pivot accordingly?

Even though I practise meditation and mindfulness daily it does not make me immune to negative self-talk.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Am I still hard on myself some days, of course. Do I still catch myself saying cruel things about my body, yes.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But the difference now is that I don’t believe that voice. The difference now is I’m aware of that voice. That it's not my voice but one of generational conditioning. A voice that use to have power and control over me.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Realizing I can separate myself from that voice and not feed into it is the greatest gift and is so liberating.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
📝Give yourself a daily check in today and see if you can catch yourself in the middle of a negative comment. Notice when you acknowledge it it loses its power over you.

Although without coordinating or planning life could get very unorganized. I am not saying we shouldn’t make goals but rather sitting with the intention behind making them. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
