Do you need to wear sunscreen if you work inside?

Answer: Absolutely and always! If you work near a window, UVA rays still pe*****te through windows which is the root cause of hyperpigmentation, skin cancer, and premature aging.

All this to say, even if you plan on spending an entire day inside, top off your morning skincare routine with a minimum of SPF 30 and you’re setting yourself up for glowing skin 💫

Meet Ashley C

Ashley is the Lead Medical Aesthetician at Lift Clinic. She brings over 15 years of experience to the team and is passionate about all things beauty, health, and wellness. Ashley began her aesthetics journey as a holistic facialist and body treatment specialist. She is a certified Reiki Practitioner, Ayurvedic Therapist, and Yoga Therapist, but her true passion lies in advanced medical aesthetics.

Ashley has completed extensive training in laser resurfacing treatments, IPL, chemical peels, microneedling with radiofrequency, dermal infusion. She takes a holistic approach to skin health integrating massage into her medical grade facials and is eager to use her expertise to make you feel more beautiful, inside and out.

Ever since Kylie Jenner made media headlines for her infamous lips, it has been rapidly popular for millennials to get fillers in multiple areas, such as lips, tear troughs, cheeks, jawline, nasolabial folds (smile lines), and chin. As we age, our skin loses collagen, elasticity, and subcutaneous fat, which causes our muscles to work closer to the surface and create greater folds in our skin. The beauty of fillers is the non-surgical approach to rejuvenating your skin’s appearance.

Did you know that:
Hyaluronic acid fillers are derm favourites. Restylane, Juvéderm, and Belotero contain hyaluronic acid, which is a product already found naturally in your body and is responsible for giving skin a plump, more hydrated appearance. Some people use it topically to moisturize, but creams and serum will not aid in volume loss. Only injectable hyaluronic acid can do this.

Here at Lift Clinic we are very judicious about the amount of filler we use and will only use as much as needed for a natural and refreshed look.
