This patient underwent a breast lift but also had some fullness along the side of her chest, commonly referred to as a “bra roll.”

To address this area, she chose an excision to remove the excess skin and tissue. While an excision does result in a scar, she was very happy with the appearance of her breasts and the scar as she healed. 🤍

The best approach for fullness along the chest or bra area depends on the patient’s anatomy, the amount of excess tissue, and their individual goals. In some cases, liposuction may be appropriate, while in others, excision may provide a more complete correction.
