As we celebrate the diversity and resilience of the LGBTQ2S+ community, we want to highlight an important statistic conducted by StatCan: 25% of respondents with a disability experienced discrimination in the healthcare system based on their sexual orientation, compared to 16% without a disability.

This stat underscores the urgent need to address intersectionality and ensure fair treatment for all, regardless of disability, sexual orientation, and any other aspect of one's identity. 🤝

Discrimination in any form is unacceptable, whether in healthcare or employment. At CCRW, we recognize the importance of addressing intersectionality in our efforts to help job seekers with disabilities find meaningful employment, as well as in supporting and educating employers 🫶
