🏃♂️ My 10 Year Sprint 🏃♂️
Ten years ago, I heard about a new clinic called Myodetox that happened to be right around the corner from where I lived. Fresh out of the University of Toronto’s Physical Therapy program, I walked into my interview with Vinh Pham and Scott Marcaccio feeling a mix of raw excitement and curiosity about what was actually possible within the physiotherapy industry. Their vision of what Myodetox could become was ambitious, but also attainable.
Fast forward to today, that same sense of excitement remains—but curiosity has been replaced with a deep sense of purpose.
In this decade-long journey, I’ve grown up at Myo in every sense of the word, both professionally and personally—stepping into roles as a Clinic Director, a Husband, and most recently a Father (and also dog Dad!).
Looking back, it’s been a true 10-Year Sprint.
In the early days, I was finding my footing at the original Myo clinic at Cityplace and Davisville (now relocated to Yorkville). Afterwards, I had the opportunity to open our fourth Toronto location: PATH Exchange Tower. Weathering the storm throughout the COVID pandemic was one of the most challenging things I’ve truthfully ever done.
For the last year, I’ve had the privilege to experience another clinic from Day One: Myo Brookfield Place, which has been one of my most fulfilling professional experiences to date.
Today marks a special milestone—Brookfield Place is officially 1 year old as of October 1st. As we head into another busy season, looking at our team and the energy in our clinics, I wouldn’t want it any other way.
To anyone in our profession looking to build a career with real purpose, push your boundaries, and make a tangible impact: let’s connect. I would love to share what’s possible here.
Here’s to the next 10 years! 🥂
