Excited to Announce that I’ll be vending at this years South Island Powwow on Sept.30th, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 🧡

The annual South Island Powwow is an opportunity to recognize Survivors and their families in the spirit of reconciliation. Through traditional song and dance, we will celebrate Indigenous cultures and the resiliency of our peoples.

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation holds a lot of weight and is difficult for many of us.
Vending here in 2024 held me in merging my grief and complicated, sacred rage with the space to be in community, to show up with one another and to immerse myself in the incredible gifts and love that we carry as people of Turtle Island. 🪶
