Well friends, we are nicely into a new year. How are you all doing so far? Did you make any resolutions for January? Maybe, like me, you know that those don't usually last very long before discouragement or apathy sneaks in.

So, can we look at some simple ways to improve our health and vitality? This will not be a hard sell, but think of it more as a refreshing of what you already know.

Supplements? Healthy eating? Exercise? Good mindset?
All these things come into play.

During winter, we naturally get less Vitamin D from the sun, so it's a good idea to take Vitamin D3. I like to take more than the regular suggested dosage, but that's up to you.

Healthy Eating -- these days, with food prices climbing there is also a concern about our food's quality. Choose organic whenever possible. The same toxins that affect the farmers' fields are affecting our air quality and drinking water. So filtered water is something I always do for myself.

Exercise. Yikes! This one makes me hang my head a little because I put it off for a better day. And that day never seems to come! Can you relate? I DO know that even a 15 or 20-minute walk is better than no walk. I think the key is to just do "some" exercise. Choose walking as a start, and it's free! Take on more as you are able: further distance or a quicker pace.
