The question I hear most often from people considering personal training in Vancouver is some version of: is it actually worth it?
I understand the skepticism. The industry has a long track record of overpromising and underdelivering.
Here is the honest answer based on 20 years of coaching professionals across Coal Harbour, Yaletown, Gastown, the West End, and Kitsilano.
It is worth it when the trainer takes the time to understand how you move before programming anything. When the program is built for your actual schedule, not an ideal one. When the accountability extends beyond the session. And when the relationship is built on honesty rather than motivation speak.
When those things are in place, personal training is the most efficient path to building the physical foundation that makes everything else in your life easier.
When they are not, it is an expensive way to stay inconsistent.
I built Train Like Rob around the version that works. If you want to see what that looks like in practice, click Learn More to book a free intro call.
