I thought I’d found the perfect solution.

A coffee shop in Kitsilano where Victoria could play upstairs while I enjoyed a coffee and got some work done downstairs.

Our nanny is away for two weeks, I’m preparing for baby n2, and we’re slowly practising spending a little time apart.

Victoria is usually pretty independent and friendly, so I thought she’d love it.

Well… she loved the space.

She just wasn’t ready for me to leave. 😂

So instead of working, I spent about 2 hours exploring with her.

And by the end?

She was smiling, saying she’d had fun and giving the staff hugs and kisses.

Not the productive morning I had planned, but still a little win.

Sometimes the first visit isn’t about successfully separating. It’s about becoming familiar with somewhere new.

Thank you, Particles PH for being so welcoming! ☕️

You don’t need to know your gates, channels, profile, …or even what you want to ask before booking a Human Design reading with me :)

You can come because you’re navigating motherhood and don’t quite feel like yourself anymore.

Because you’re questioning your career or business.

Because you’re in a transition.

Because you keep second-guessing your decisions.

Or simply because something in your life doesn’t fit the way it used to, and you want to understand yourself better before deciding what comes next.

That’s where we start.

You bring me what’s happening in your real life, and I bring the Human Design lens. 🤍

If you’re curious about having a 1:1 Human Design reading with me, DM me READING and tell me what you’re navigating right now.

One day she won’t need me to blow on her eggs at 5:45am… and somehow that makes me sad AND relieved. 😂

Motherhood is so weird. Am I right?!

You spend half your day doing things that would be completely unhinged in any other relationship.

Smelling someone’s bum.

Checking what’s in their mouth.

Celebrating a p*e like they just won the lottery.

Carrying snacks everywhere because apparently leaving the house without them is too risky.

And sometimes I’m overstimulated, tired, touched out and thinking… can everyone just need me 20% less today? 😅

But then I remember that this version of her is temporary.

One day I won’t have to check if she pooped.

I won’t have to cool down every bite.

She won’t need me for all these tiny, ridiculous things that make up so much of my day right now.

And I’ll probably miss some of them.

Not all of them though.

I will happily retire from bum smelling. 😂

Anyway… toddler motherhood is a very strange little season.

Exhausting, hilarious, repetitive, beautiful and somehow going way too fast. 🤍

I know I’m not the only one buying 1 million courses and maybe, regretting it a little bit 🫣

I caught myself doing this last week.

I bought a course from someone whose content and business are growing quickly.

And I AM excited to learn from her.

But I also had to admit that part of the reason I bought it was FOMO.

Because I’ve been questioning my own content lately.

Am I sharing enough Human Design?

Should I be editing differently?

Should I follow more trends?

What do people actually want from me?

And somewhere in all of that noise, I started feeling disconnected from what I actually want to say.

Which is a little ironic when so much of my work is about helping people come back to themselves. 😅

I don’t think Human Design means we stop learning from other people.

I think it’s another tool for noticing the difference between:

“This inspires me.”

and

“I need to become more like this person because what I’m doing isn’t enough.”

And that distinction matters far beyond Instagram.

If you’re navigating a season where everyone seems to have an opinion about what you should do next, but you’re struggling to hear yourself in all the noise, this is exactly the kind of thing I love exploring in a reading.

DM me READING and tell me what you’re navigating. 🤍
