Fall can stir up grief in ways we don't always expect. Maybe it's the first cold morning, or a date on the calendar you've been quietly dreading.

Grief doesn't only come out as tears. For a lot of people it comes out as snapping at the people they love, and then feeling awful about it.

If that sounds familiar, you're not doing anything wrong. You're carrying a lot, and it makes sense that some of it is spilling over.

Sometimes it's hard to even put into words what's going on. You might not know if it's grief, stress or just a tough season, and that's okay. You don't need to have it figured out before you reach out.

There can be a lot of pressure to be fine, especially when everyone around you seems to have moved on. But grief doesn't keep to a timeline, and there's no right way to feel it.

We get it. At Healing Anger you can talk about what's really going on without having to explain yourself or put on a brave face.

For women doing the deep work of healing anger, this feels like a natural and powerful next step. 🌿

After 8 years — a full cycle, infinity turned on its side — I'm officially a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP).

This journey has taken me through every edge of my own healing process, and it has changed the way I work with you.

Learning to work from the nervous system rather than the thinking mind has been one of the most profound shifts in my life as a psychotherapist. And what I love most about this work is that it's not only about pain — it's also about orienting to pleasure, joy, and aliveness. Yum! 🌱

Somatic Experiencing, developed by Dr. Peter Levine, helps people release stored stress responses held in the body and cultivate lasting resilience.

If you're curious about exploring this with me, reach out at [email protected] 💛

And thank you to my tribe for capturing this moment — and for sharing the beautiful Inti with me 🐾✨

Are you tired of stuffing it down, blowing up, apologizing… and then doing it all over again?

Anger can feel like it comes out of nowhere but it usually has a history.

It can build in the body as tension, resentment, anxiety, shutdown, sarcasm, defensiveness, or the feeling that you’re about to lose control. And when it finally comes out, the real message often gets lost.

Then comes the shame.
The regret.
The self-criticism.
The promise that next time will be different.

Without understanding what is happening underneath the anger, the cycle often repeats.

In our Healing Anger Groups, we don’t treat anger as something to shame, suppress, or “manage” through willpower alone. We explore anger as energy, information, protection, and a doorway into deeper self-understanding.

This 6-week online course is for women who are ready to:

Understand their triggers
Recognize their body’s anger cues earlier
Stop cycling between stuffing it down and blowing up
Communicate with more clarity and respect
Set strong, compassionate boundaries
Respond with more dignity, self-compassion, and integrity

We raise kids to succeed. But do we raise them to care?

In years of sitting with adults who are learning to heal their anger, I’ve noticed a pattern.

So many of them were raised to perform — to achieve, to excel, to make their families proud. And they did. By every external measure, they succeeded.

And yet, somewhere along the way, they lost access to themselves. To their feelings. To the quiet knowing of what they actually need.

They were educated for success. But no one taught them how to care — for others, or for themselves.

What if we flipped that?

What if, alongside math and ambition and resilience, we taught our children to sit with discomfort — their own and someone else’s? To notice when a friend goes quiet. To say I was wrong. To rest without guilt. To give without keeping score.

Caring is not soft. It is one of the most sophisticated, courageous capacities a human being can develop.

The children we raise to feel deeply, to connect genuinely, to act from values rather than fear — they don’t just do well in life. They make life better for everyone around them.

That’s the kind of success I believe in. 🌱

Your emotions aren’t hijacking your decisions. They’re leading them.

Research in neuroscience has consistently shown that people with damage to the emotional centers of the brain don’t become more rational decision-makers — they become unable to decide at all. Without emotional input, even simple choices like what to eat or which appointment to schedule become paralyzing.

Emotions aren’t noise in the system. They’re data.

The goal of emotional intelligence isn’t to feel less — it’s to develop a relationship with what you’re feeling so you can:

✦ Notice the emotion before it’s already driven the car
✦ Ask what it’s telling you, not just what it’s doing to you
✦ Make choices that are informed by your feelings rather than reactive to them

Anger signals a boundary may have been crossed.
Fear signals something that matters is at risk.
Sadness signals a loss worth honoring.

When we suppress or dismiss these signals, we don’t make better decisions. We make uninformed ones — and then wonder why something feels off afterward.

The work isn’t to get emotions out of the driver’s seat. It’s to stop white-knuckling the wheel and actually learn to drive.

🌿 What emotion has been showing up most in your decisions lately?
