September is almost here, and our Calgary Pediatric Team is ready! 🍂🎒
Over the past few weeks, our team completed two Back-to-School Simulation Training sessions, giving Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Health Care Aides (HCAs) the opportunity to practice real-life school care scenarios before the school year begins. Using specialized equipment and mannequins, participants worked through hands-on situations they may encounter while supporting children, helping them build confidence and strengthen their skills.
This specialized training is designed to ensure our team feels confident, and families feel safe knowing their children are supported by capable, well-trained professionals.
This is the second year we've offered this specialized training, complemented by educational modules through iTacit to support ongoing learning and professional growth.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and helped make both training days a success. We're incredibly proud of our Calgary Pediatric Team and their commitment to providing exceptional school-based and respite care.
